Portfolio Manager
Elvir Causevic is co-founder and Managing Director of Tech+IP Capital, a Houlihan Lokey spinoff focused on unlocking value from intangible assets. Recognized as a "Top 40 IP Dealmaker" by IAM, he previously served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Tech+IP Advisory Group at Houlihan Lokey and founded BSIP LLC, which was acquired in 2017. Throughout his 20-year career, Dr. Causevic has founded several technology companies, raising over $50 million in venture capital.
A named inventor on over 25 patents, Dr. Causevic began his career as a J.W. Gibbs Assistant Professor at Yale University. He holds Doctorate and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a J.D. from UC College of Law, San Francisco, with additional training in accounting, economics, and finance. His expertise spans technology and IP investment banking, board advisory, M&A, and financial restructuring of technology businesses.

With over 15 years in private equity and portfolio management, he honed his skills as Senior Portfolio Manager at Alliance before joining the world’s largest independent financial advisory, serving clients across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East. At MMC, Summerfield connects bold investors with pioneering ventures in longevity, biotech, fintech, and clean tech.
His sharp insight has propelled MMC’s “longevity investment as a service” model, managing hundreds of millions in interest for clients like Life Biosciences. Renowned for crafting high-impact portfolios that fuse strong returns with purpose, he leverages a robust global network. His empathetic yet decisive leadership redefines private equity, delivering sustainable value and progress worldwide.
